Follifoot Women’s Institute (WI) meet the second Wednesday of each month, at Follifoot Village Hall. The meeting starts at 7.30pm and usually finishes about 9pm. A competition is usually held where members can get a point for just entering. At the majority of meetings there is a talk or demonstration on anything from ‘Working with Wonder Woman’ to ‘Flowers for Christmas’. At the end of the evening refreshments are provided. As a member of the WI you are regularly invited to various outings, courses, weekends away. Presently there are nearly 60 members, and new members are always welcome. There is an annual subscription of £29.00.
