The picture below was submitted by Mike Bowman who lives in Spofforth.
Mike was born in Follifoot in 1952 and went to the village school. He was one of the children who found the kiln and still has some of the pottery. What a great village to grow up in. Mike was a delivery boy for many years when the Bearparks owned the village shop. The picture was taken in the late 50's. The headmistress was Miss butler, and the infants teacher was Miss Stoddard. |
